This page covers what happens to your data on the betterfeed.io website. The site is mostly static. No accounts, no logins, no cookies that track you across the web. If you submit an email through a form, we keep it in a private spreadsheet until you ask us to remove it. Each of our products (like Window) has its own privacy policy that covers how that product handles your data on your device.
If you submit your email through a form here (for instance, the "notify me" form on the Window page), the submission goes into a private Google Sheet that only we can read. We store your email, your selected device or platform, the page you submitted from, your browser's user agent, and the date and time. We use this to write to you about the thing you signed up for, and only that. We don't sell it, share it, or add you to a marketing list. Ask us to delete it any time by writing to hello@betterfeed.io.
Our hosting provider (Netlify) keeps standard access logs (IP, timestamp, page) for a short window for security and abuse prevention. We don't read these for any other purpose.
This site doesn't set tracking cookies. No Google Analytics, no Meta pixel, no advertising trackers. If we ever add lightweight analytics, it'll be privacy-respecting (something like Plausible or Aptabase) and we'll mention it here.
We don't collect your name unless you put it in an email to us. We don't fingerprint your browser. We don't track you across other websites. We don't sell, rent, or trade any information we hold to anyone, ever.
Each product we ship has its own privacy policy that covers how that product behaves on your device. For example, the Window iOS app's data handling (which runs entirely on-device with two small exceptions) is described at window privacy. This page only covers this website.
You can ask us what we have, ask us to delete it, or ask us to correct it. Write to hello@betterfeed.io and we'll do it within a few days.
This website and our products are intended for adults. We don't knowingly collect data from anyone under 13.
If we change what data we collect, we'll update this page and the "last updated" date at the top. We won't silently add tracking.
